The town of Northborough, and many others throughout the area and baseball were shocked when a favorite son was killed a couple of days ago. Mark Fidrych was killed in what could be called an industrial accident at home. He was working on his dump truck when a piece of clothing caught on a spining shaft, which lead to his death. This is something he has probably done hundreds of times.  
 
 
 
Safety is not only for the workplace or during the workday, it has to be practiced everyday everywhere. No matter how many times you have skirted the line of safety while using your lawnmower, snowblower, power tools or working on you car, it only takes one set of unique circumstance to cause an accident.
