PROTECTING YOUR BUSINESS AND EMPLOYEES

If someone suddenly collapsed, would you know what to do? We do.

Safety Trainers will assist you in courses designed to teach you what to do in the first few minutes while you wait for help to arrive.

Does Your School Have An Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP)?

This public health initiative helps schools respond to life-threatening emergencies in the first minutes before the arrival of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel.

Life-threatening emergencies can happen in any school at any time. These emergencies can result from pre-existing health problems, violence, unintentional injuries, natural disasters and toxins. In the same way that schools plan for tornadoes or fires, school leaders should have an emergency response plan to deal with life-threatening medical emergencies.

MERPS encourages every school to develop a program that reduces the incidence of life-threatening emergencies, and maximizes the chances of intact survival from an emergency. Such a program will have the potential to save the greatest number of lives, with the most efficient use of school equipment and personnel.
